I am admiring of your correct spelling of just deserts, from the latin "to deserve," not the latin "to desert."

Although, I hear they bandy that phrase around in law school, so perhaps that's how you learned to spell it.

This article is sloppy. It implies that the murder was a direct result of the father's ideology. A closer reading reveals that the author knows nothing about the motive, including whether it had anything to do at all with his Neo Nazism.

Hall and his group were the ones at the Nazi rally I photographed last year. I posted a fairly large photo essay of that event in the photography thread, and I recognize many of the faces from the article from that event (some of them show up in my photos).


I didn't have a long enough lens to shoot these guys when they were out in the open, but I think that is Hall next to the bearded guy (with his face obstructed by the fence). The guy in the white T with black gloves shows up in the NYT photo essay. You can tell it is him from the face tats.

Here is a NYT photo where the Nazis are trying to push out their car while defending themselves from a barrage of bottles and rocks. I was about ten feet from the guys throwing the rocks, and I was feeling pretty certain that I was going to get maced.
