LDS Scammer/Gambler/Haiti Aid Giver

This was a pretty interesting read in the Tribune today.

LDS Returned Missionary Jeremy Johnson defrauded people of perhaps 275 million, of which 48 million went to him personally, had over 4 million in gambling losses, but flew aid missions to Haiti and gave a huge amount of money away for other charitable projects. He seems like a very talented and energetic guy -- too bad he couldn't channel that into legal businesses.

Sounds like he is going to stay in Costa Rica for the time being, probably so he doesn't go to jail.

Hey, isnt that the guy who ferried out those orphans without exit documents so the charity group that took them out got locked up in the Dominican Republic for basically kidnapping? Even though they were orphans, you can't just take them across national borders.

I believe Boylen Over knows the charity group.
