For real though, this is only one of the very few political issues I've ever dabbled in. For-profit education and the funding for it has become the bane of a state university student's existence. Tuition raises about 5-10% every year and it's only going to get worse and state tech schools, for-profit educational institutions and the dumbasses in legislature who want to fund them are only perpetuating the problem. I have just never been able to wrap my head around this. Fund the tech schools and online universities that train for jobs that are already going to be there, or fund the research institutions that are actually contributing to the forward progress of society and creating new jobs?Last edited by mccuisinart; 04-30-2011, 11:01 AM.
