Apparently without teabagger support.
Jed Lewison asks:
"If tea party Republicans won't even vote for compromises negotiated by their leadership, what possible relevance do they have to the process of reaching an agreement in the first place? If neither Boehner nor Democrats need their vote to move legislation forward, haven't they just sidelined themselves into irrelevancy?"
I understand that some members of the fledgling uprising believe it is more important to make a point than to make law or policy, but it seems that as of today they have made neither.
