This could go in the Foyer or the Water Cooler, but I'll put it here. "Clayton Christensen: The Survivor" is a Forbes article that takes some time to read but is worth it. (I looked, and didn't see that it was posted anywhere else here.) It's about how Christensen, a well-known Harvard Business School professor who's also a Mormon, suffered a heart attack, cancer, and stroke (all of them serious) in the space of three years. He's also written a book on reforming the healthcare system, so the juxtaposition of those two sets of experiences makes the article fascinating.

"God made the angels to show His splendour - as He made animals for innocence and plants for their simplicity. But men and women He made to serve Him wittily, in the tangle of their minds."
-- Robert Bolt, A Man for All Seasons
