• Richard Trumka and the White House...

So, Richard Trumka visits the White House twice weekly and talks daily with someone from the White House, yet Obama has yet to talk to 6 member of his own cabinet.

WTF? Who is Obama really talking to about policy for this country?

wow
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

Woot

I believe religion has much inherent good and has born many good fruits.

I'm sure FoxNews has their facts messed up on this one.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

you're right, the dubya administration wasn't involved in anything that could be construed as a conflict of interest.

Spoiler for SPOILER ALERT:

Well, you could at least compare him to a competent president. You could also address the fact that several cabinets members haven't even talked to the guy. I mean, why have cabinet members at all unless they are a front for the guys that are really calling the shots?

I guess it's not news anyway that Obama is in bed with unions. I'd probably be in bed with them too if they gave me as much money as they give to him.

Hmmm.... Bush was never a conservative, but he hasn't been POTUS for more than 2 years. Care to address the now?

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but the video and report is from MSNBC.

would this have been a valid concern three years ago? what about in march of 03?

It appears for you it was. Are you equally concerned now?
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

no, i'm not deluded enough to think that politicians don't act on a quid pro quo basis regardless of their affiliation.

Does it not concern you that Obama is spending more time consulting with the head of the AFL/CIO than his own cabinet? Is that why you keep bringing up Bush?

I don't think that is the issue here.

I'm not familiar with this particular issue or individual, but I thought the concern was that the White House is circumventing the democratic process by using unelected/unconfirmed advisors on policy matters. Accountability and congressional oversight is impeded.

i don't think this is accurate, compelling cell phone footage of trumka's sweaty ass notwithstanding.
