The best part about using the adult differentiated stem cells is the cells already know what they are going to be. The rate at which the repair in the video occurs is astonishing. I have done a lot of work with burn patients and the recovery process can be a lifelong struggle. Many patients I knew wished they had died in their accidents.
I wonder how well something like this could work for deeper burns? One can visualize building up more complex underlying structures with a CNC machine, similar to fused-deposition modeling. Combine this sprayed cell deposition with some of the bone grafting technologies developed for oral implants and it may be possible to accomplish some miraculous healing events.Comment
