It's actually pretty interesting what these FDIC people do. Can't tell anybody (including your family) where you are going. Team members stay at different hotels and seperatley converge on the bank in question at 5:00 on Friday. Walk in, take over the bank and work all weekend to hopefully have it open under a new owner by Monday. Except for the part about telling people they're losing their jobs it sounds like it would be kind of fun.
