I loved Rep. Cohen in the Raiders of the Lost Ark...

Less of a finger wag and more of a beatdown.

Cohen just doesn't get it. He's the type of politician that is the problem in this country because he believes that he's above reproach. What an ass.

Clearly he doesn't. This interview reminded me of John Stewarts interview with Rachel Maddow where she just couldn't see exactly what Stewart was hanging in front of her face. These people (both left and right wingers) are so steeped in their beliefs that they can't even consider that fact they might be wrong or the other side might have an equally good solution.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Cohen represents Memphis, heavily black and Democratic. His greatest threat comes in the primaries should a viable black candidate challenge him. His KKK rhetoric will have much greater currency than the Nazi references. Either way, I doubt this hurts him that much at home.
              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I remember thinking Anderson Cooper to be pretty good in the past on topics he discussed and how he filet'd some activists on his show. I had respect for how he was pretty even on his reports at times..

Has he fallen from grace? Why would CNN be proposing a show with him and Kathy Griffin??

Because CNN is a fledgling channel and they're hoping to attract viewers who enjoy their train wreck of a New Year's Eve special. But I am not sure what advertisers they could get with Kathy Griffin stripping and trying to go down on AC.

I agree. I have seen promo's for the New Year's Eve thing and think what a couple of dumbasses.

Seems like a desperate move by a network who may not ever recover... I predict if this shows happens.. That CNN will lose even more viewers..
