Time to eliminate Lame Duck sessions of congress. There is no reason for it. We can get the new elected officials to take over after Thanksgiving.

How absurd that a party who has had control of both houses of congress and the executive is using this lame duck month to try to pass several bill they didn't have the guts to bring to the floor prior to the election they lost?

I don't understand the tax failure. If they even would have brought it up in January I think they could have gotten the bill that Schumer put forward. Why they waited so long was an enormous blunder. If their base could have had any tax increase on anyone with money they would have hailed it a victory. The Progressives are so demorialized because they are so emotionally attached to hating anything from President Bush. Well that and their fundamental bitterness towards anyone with money.

It actually has been a pretty humorous week. It has added insult to their election days injury.

Now if he'll do the same to the Dream Act and START, he'll be that much closer to pulling his head out of his ass. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.
I would think you'd like the dream act, or at least aspects of it.

It seems that Tex has morphed into a Beck/Palin robot during his absence. Shocking, I tell you. Shocking!

Why not put him on "ignore" and be done with it?

Because it's impossible to ignore people in vbulletin. At least, the ignore feature sucks.

That is why you need to use FireFox and the ignore add-in that blocks a username. I haven't seen anything from SU in months. Makes the board much more readable for me.

I'm a long-time FireFox user but didn't realize there was an add-on for vBulletin. URL, please.

It's kinda funny how often this comparison surfaces, given that I'm not really a fan of either one.

There isn't enough of it that I like that compels me to want it passed.

Tim, if you use Firefox, this feature works great.
