Prediction for the repeal of DDT

This would probably save millions of lives but unfortunately it will never happen.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

why would it save lives? Aren't there more effective insecticides that have been genetically engineered for specific seeds and crops?

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

DDT is supposedly a lot cheaper and that means something to poor third world countries. At least that's what I read in a reason.com article I just googled that dates back to 2000. The page is almost as long in tooth as the old cnn.com page that you can still pull up that reports on OJ's acquittal back in 1995.

Pssst....hey CMBF....wrestling is fake....no one is going to die...

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
