    Blame the people who passed the law. This goes back a hundred years. Maybe more. I don't know why kids seeking to make a profit should be exempted from a generally applicable law.

    Yes, I think the guy is an idiot, but the law is an ass.

      The guy looks like he'd be the type to call the cops on kids selling goodies without a license. What a weasel.

        Yes the law is idiotic, and they should be blamed, but this guy could of easily told the parents, the kids etc about getting a license and had them contact the appropriate staff that following Monday. But instead he calls the cops and has them do his dirty work because he does not have the balls to do it himself..

          I'm surprised but gladdened by the responses in this thread. I have long thought that we should overlook violations of administrative regulations and misdemeanors, such as selling cookies without a license or illegal immigration.

          I'm glad we all agree on this.
