    My impression as well.

I suspect that you are not getting paid enough.

For the most part, so is being a primary care physician. What your average Family Practice/GP/Pediatrician does in their day-to-day work, and what a PA does are pretty similar. The PA gets trained in a lot less time and for a lot less money, gets paid a very good salary, while the phycian he/she works for assumes all the business risk - forking over several hundred grand to start up a practice, hiring staff to deal with all the paperwork, etc.

And PAs don't get calls in the middle of the night either...

I'm awfully disappointed in the collective. I thought for sure somebody would offer this within ten minutes.

It's either that or wishful thinking.

                      Maybe.

I was kidding about the chump part. With all of the lawyers around here we can't afford any infighting.

                          Cool.

BTW, we can date but I can't marry you because you are a Ute.

The bottom line is that we're all blessed more than we ought to be. I'm a pretty good example of the Lord guiding your life. Looking back, we've always done OK, but the twists and turns in my professional life have been exceptional. As a small business owner, there's nothing that expressly describes my job, but #8 is close. However, being self employed, and doing as well as I am, is a minor miracle. My wife and I work together, and we have a special needs daughter at home too, and life couldn't be any better. The main question we have to answer to everyday is... "where should we go to lunch?"
