Good luck wuap. Thankfully I don't think much of SC is below sea level. I also find it interesting that I have yet to experience any kind of hurricane or tropical storm in Houston since I've lived here. I moved in the year after Katrina and was on a two week vacation when Ike hit. Since then...nothing.

3 gallons of skim milk in the fridge, and 2 containers of carnation malt.
Oh, and Walmart had Count Chocula on special. Not since 4th grade have I enjoyed that bounty, so I got a box.
bring it on stormy.

But, you're not in a flood plain.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostI'm guessing bread and milk's gone at Kroger/Publix/Harris Teeter. Tim's such a lightweight, only getting 5-8". It has rained here for 9 days straight already. This could get very ugly. Incidentally, I paid my flood insurance premiums today.

We are forecasted to get 10 of those inches between now and Sunday, including 6 tomorrow. Too bad it is conference weekend, because church may have been canceled otherwise.
And of course that is on top of the 1.5 inches we've already gotten. Better go to the store tomorrow.

I hate how hot and humid it is here in NC. If I didn't like my job so much I'd be out of here.

The low tonight in the Pee Dee is supposed to be 15F. I've only felt that kind of cold in Cache Valley, Utah. Of course, it's going to be 72F on Saturday, so we will survive, yeah yeah.
