Agreed in general. But at the same time, one of the layers of this tragedy is that people have instinctively gone after this young man's parents in the moment of their deepest grief and anguish - assuming that their stern parenting is what caused this tragedy when in fact they were more horrified and shocked than anyone of what happened and absolutely would have loved him regardless of what happened with the pregnancy news.
