He deserves his own thread. Tim Ballard is a wanker.

Also, the Vice story today about OUR's current exec (for now--probably not by tomorrow) just unreal. The guy voluntarily fondling a 16 year old, then trying to pretend it was involuntary, then trying to pretend he thought she was 18 (as if that makes it completely better). Totally despicable behavior. As has been said before, OUR has not lessened the existence of human trafficking, but has likely increased demand for human trafficking through its missions.
I was thinking the same thing. 18 years old or 16 years old, it is still reprehensible.

Some Tim Ballard issues a statement saying that:

“During my time at O.U.R., I designed strict guidelines for myself and our operators in the field. Sexual contact was prohibited, and I led by example. Given our meticulous attention to this issue, any suggestion of inappropriate sexual contact is categorically false.”

So "sexual contact was prohibited" and you paid "meticulous attention" to the issue, but an executive of OUR was on video groping a 16 year old's breasts and was allowed to continue after that? Sorry, this makes Tim's claims about the "meticulous attention" paid to the issue sound not all that credible.

I mean he led by example, so when the new head of OUR's hands jumped to that child's exposed breasts, I guess he was only doing what he had seen Tim Ballard do?

It seems like Vice is basically going to send these stories out one at a time. They have the Davis County DA's investigation and this is the first time they have linked the source document. My guess is the stories are going to keep on coming.

Here you go, funk. You asked if Deseret Book would pull his fake history books. Looks like they have now.

Today's article is about the psychic.
Janet Russon, a psychic medium from Utah, was a central source of “intelligence” for OUR, leading to at least one failed mission and no evident rescues of missing children.

It only makes sense to use donations from people to pay a Nephi talkin' to medium $60,000.00 per year base plus $1,560.00 per hour. Sounds like a bargain to me.

Also, fun that on her OUR profile they list that she "develops alliances with other anti-human trafficking NGOs (non-government organizations) in the U.S. and around the world." They just left off that the NGO was Nephi.

I do enjoy that OUR seems to be getting tired of this shit and now are pointing them to talk to Ballard.

For any question about her alleged psychic abilities, services rendered to Mr. Ballard, or payments for those services, please ask Ms. Russon or Mr. Ballard.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must be seriously upset about this. Tim Ballard could have said anything or anyone was his inspiration and source of information. But he had to go and claim his organization receives visits from Nephi, and now folks are going to think Mormons are a bunch of people who believe ancient Book of Mormon prophets are providing information and direction to church leaders.

The story about the conversation with the missing boy’s father is seriously sickening. Imagine getting a vulnerable parent’s hopes up, telling them you have information about his son and you’re going to find him, knowing full well you had absolutely zero idea where he was. Unforgivable.
