Obama, fear mongering and the race card....

Anyone care to defend Obama's trying to scare minorities and women into voting this November? If playing the race card is wrong for conservatives, I certainly hope it's wrong for liberals too.

Of course, we won't hear one word of this anywhere that isn't FOX news.

My kind words for him are that he is a very good politician. Since his policies are not the same as mine, my problem with him is his policies. As a person, he seems just fine, as "shifty and manipulative" are words of praise for a man in his profession.

I do admire his relationship with his family and I do think it is sincere.

You lecturing me about a schtick not being interesting and old is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh, SU.

Clever, I am not going to spend time trying to find the change. I am sure it is there, but I couldn't find it in 3 looks and so I am moving on.

I apologize to both you and SU for butting in. I forgot you can take care of yourself.

No worries. I appreciate you having my back when the "kind" SU attacks me.

President Obama (as well as a great many politicians on both sides of the aisle) and I fundamentally disagree on what is wrong and who the boogeymen are -- the wealthy, big business, insurance companies & wall street are less troublesome to me than unnecessary wars, medicare, social security, trillion dollar bailouts, new multi-trillion dollar entitlements, high corporate taxes & other recent revenue generating ideas.

It will be up to each of you to make sure that the old people, whites, small business owners and men who powered us to victory in 2000 and 2004 will stand together once again in 2010.

IPU, I don't see how that video "scares" minorities or women into voting this November. Certainly, he is doing what he can to appeal to those blocs, since they tended to vote for him in '08. W did the same thing earlier in his political career with the Latinos because they tended to support him. I found Obama's pitch unremarkable.

And I intend to vote Republican in November's Congressional races.

He's scaring them into voting by telling them that the things he has accomplished could be undone, such as health care reform.
