More and more congressional Sunday votes on critical legislation. 72 hours to review legislation (48 of those hours on Sat/Sun) and then vote on Sundays?

Let's change the principle to 72 'business day' hours. Then we wouldn't have to force our representatives to work on weekends.

In October of this year, a month before the election, cuts to Medicare go into effect. Physicians' fees get cut by 21 percent under Medicare, hospital reimbursements by over a billion dollars. Yes in deedee........Mayo will not longer see Medicare patients or your parents who are on Medicare. That is sure to improve access. LOL

The beauty is that those in the medical industry will still have their connections to see a physician when and where they desire. The rest of the populace is screwed.

This bill will certainly improve access, reduce costs, insure everyone (at least 90% = everyone), and above all, improve the quality of care. Amazing how gullible the masses are.

I think it's great that the AMA supports this bill. They see more $$ and patients as a result of 'universal' healthcare. Problem is that the government will eventually tell them which procedures are covered or not covered. The only way to reduce costs is through rationing. Which EVERYONE in the healthcare industry agrees with. Problem is that in order to get this sold to the American public, no way no how will any of the liars admit to that.

Go ahead and ask the practicing physicians on this board alone.

BTW, show me where I said I was a doctor/physician? It's not that difficult to get your facts straight.
