The stigma behind his name will have more of an impact (Negative impact imo) then if he truly is qualified for the position etc.. Not to say he is not good, but can we at least move beyond someone else who does not have the name Bush..

The GOP is poised to make a move, but they seem to be leaderless...

I agree. I think Jeb does have his act together. The Bush name could be a problem, but since Jeb is a lot smoother the contrast might actually be good.

He would be a breath of fresh air over who the media has dubbed as the leaders of the republican party right now like Rush, Hannity, Beck, Sarah, Huckleberry.

There is too much baggage with the name and so that alone makes him a poor choice. The DNC will successfully frame it that way and America will buy into it.
