  • High Speed Rail

I would just like to thank all of my non-CA Republican friends on CUF for working so hard to help pay for high-speed rail that will connect Los Angeles to San Francisco. There are huge gay communities in both cities, but they hardly know each other. This is really going to bring people together. Thanks guys!

Ohhhh, ohhhh, ohhhh. The Japanese, French, and Spanish are doing it. We need to do it.

    Dumb.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

sweet. the 50 or so daily one-hour flights from SoCal to SFO/OAK were just not getting the job done, I suppose.

Trains are fun. That would be cool if they did like a murder mystery thing on the way.

          Amen!

I will admit that I voted for this. Growing up, I would also vote for the ASB President who promised vending machines and an after school radio station. I expect the same result this time around.

I am pretty sure your prayer that the United States will never be France will be answered.

I won't vote for a ban on deodorant, so we should be okay.

It should be noted that when I bash France, I'm actually bashing those Parisian bastards. When one gets away from the City of Light, France isn't that bad.

One should not judge all Americans by a New Yorker; we should not judge all French by the Parisiens. I love my French clients; they are good people (des hommes correctes).

Which is why I felt it warranted that I explain what I mean when I say that France sucks.

And for the record, I have no problem if all Americans are judged by New Yorkers. They're loud, opinionated and don't give a damn what anyone thinks of them. That's the true American spirit!

You voted for that???? This was not approved at the pre-election family council. But I admit your reasoning was more sound than that of my retired mentor who, when I asked why he would vote for the huge boondoggle, said simply, "I like trains."

And that is one great looking woman in your avatar. It's kind of a Madonna and Child pic, but I know the kid doesn't really meet the requisite criteria.

This is horseshit! You guys got $2.25B while the Real America only got $400M? I don't think I'm going to vote for Barack Obama should he choose to run for re-election!

Even worse, Real America trains only go 79mph? That's high-speed? What kind of boondoggle is this?

There's nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide, electrified, six-car monorail.
