One suicide. Undetermined on the other but involved prescripton drugs upon finding the friend.

Please keep these folks in your prayers. Funerals for both the day after Christmas.

What is your expectation of the impact of the new healthcare bill?

Holy cow, did you hijack your own thread like that? That was very inappropriate.

Sad for those two young kids. Prayers are with them.

Sad. My uncle committed suicide this week as well. Both the happiest and saddest time of the year.

Thoughts and prayers to the families mentioned in this thread. Hang in there fuegote.

We just received word that one of my mother's favorite cousins was killed in a car wreck two nights ago down in Wayne County. It breaks my heart to think that Christmas will be difficult for these families for years to come.

Always sad to lose someone close like this, but it stings a little more this time of year.

                Merry Christmas, Hallelujah.

My parents always reminded us that this time of year can make things much harder on those experiencing problems. I'm sorry for your loss, fuegote. I hope your family can find some peace this season.

Not only this year, but probably for the rest of their lives when Christmas comes around.

Christmas will be hard wereas june 10th nothing to mark it by. I have a cousin that drowned on July 4th so that can mar the day you are to celebrate. Even when these events don't happen around holidays holidays are still tough.

Jeffrey R Holland gave a talk at then Ricks College about things of that nature when I was there. It is on audio but not text he gave it in 1998. His dad was in Hospital Christmas Eve and a baby cried and made him realize the meaning of Christmas. Talked of the tragic mine disaster in Wilberg and an accident and explained Jesus. Tough for these families.

Few obituaries of suicide victims say they died of suicide just say they died. Seems like other deaths that are not of age are mentioned.
