  • Insurgents intercept drone info

Using $26 off the shelf software, insurgents have exploited a flaw in the multi-billion dollar drone program. The DOD has known about the flaw since the '90's, but assumed that the bad guys wouldn't find out.

Insurgents in Iraq have been using off-the-shelf software at least since last year to intercept video feeds from U.S. military Predator unmanned aircraft and intended for U.S. military personnel, enabling the enemy to monitor and stay ahead of American operations, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, Dec. 17.

The Predator drone program is managed from the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
    Thanks, Dayton!

Don't you dare try to threadjack this important topic of national security with your anti-heartland bias!

This is the most demeaning thing you've ever said online, Tim. Do you realize that there are literally dozens of people in Dayton working in Dayton? Cashiers, box boy, forklift drivers, taxi drivers, security guards, retiree's etc. You make it seem like everyone who works in Dayton actually has a degree or got their computer degree from UD. Perhaps it's time you began to understand what exactly it is that the people who work in Dayton do for this country...

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Thank heavens that it not managed at Hill. We've had enough problems lately.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."
