    Missing mom Susan Powell

I wasn't aware of this story. What is the buzz around UT, is this another example of a crazy husband? Who takes two young kids camping in December?

    Very sad. Definitely looks fishy.

She is a pretty woman and has a very beautiful smile. Hopefully she can be found unharmed. I am sure her children miss her.

The word around here is that the husband is as guilty as can be. He has been very silent and needs someone to speak for him. If it were me and I were innocent, I'd be shouting from the rooftops trying to find my wife. He claims he took his 4 year old and 2 year old camping on a sunday night at midnight. For real, broseph? This has Mark Hacking written all over it.

It is probably due to the proliferation of news and news availability, but I don't remember stories like this when I was a kid or even in my twenties.

Maybe I have just forgotten them, but mormon guys killing their wives??
I know, other religions have theirs too, but like I said, never heard of this in Utah when I was growing up.

After watching one of the local news teams interview the guy my wife and I looked at each other and said, "He definitely killed his wife". He didn't come across as too bright in that interview as he fumbled around giving his alibi to the reporter.

The guy has one of the worst alibi stories I have ever heard.

His alibi probably points to where the body will be found.

I tried to watch the video link but couldn't get through it. I can't deal with stuff like this very well. Starts causing me to feel anxiety and panic.

Her father...I couldn't tell if he is naturally inartful or if he simply is so emotionally spent that he is numb....but I really felt horrible for him as he sat on camera with a glazed, distant stare on his face. He is wondering if he will ever see his little girl again and hoping against the worst, all while having to give interviews and sit by the phone.

yikes, that is some awful stuff. why do people do such evil things.

Anybody notice the obvious similarity to Mark Hacking?

The goatee. It screams, "I just killed my wife!". As soon as I saw his picture I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was guilty. Dudes with goatees are usually hiding some weakness or insecurity.

I hope this story ends well but I just cant see it given the facial hair situation.

I personally plan all my camping trips in December. Not only that but I usually wait for a big snow storm that is coming, and then bring my 2 and 4 year old with me. Oh and I usually don't leave until around midnight, that way the kids are ready to set up the tent when we get there.
