Sad story about his death. This article, linked on Drudge, was weird. The kid had two nzanies that were with him? He is 16 years old and they had TWO NANNIES? THat's weird, unless they look like Mrs. Doubtfire, except even then it is weird. Why, in a family of four, do you need TWO nannies ofr a 16 year old?

He looks autistic or mentally retarded to me. My wife showed me a video of his parents buckling him into a car seat. Maybe his parents were in denial about his disability, (is that part of Scientology?), but he doesn't look like a normal kid at all.

I don't know the details but this was a kid with a history with seizures, I believe. And I assume because of the scientology he was not being treated for them except, perhaps, with something "homopathic." I am a little surprised we are not hearing more about this, or at least whether the question isn't being asked whether it was preventable. I know it is an insensitive question, but when I child is involved it is an appropriate one IMO.

Travolta has said that his son does not have autism, but rather suffers from something called Kawasaki Syndrome? I have never heard of that, but per reports, it can lead to heart disease.
How anti-meds are Scientologists? I know their stance on ritalin and anti-depressants. Are they hardcore like J-Dubs when it comes to transfusions? Do they eschew modern medicine entirely? Would scientologists not seek treatment for autism?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Scientologists are categorically opposed to psychiatric medications. In fact, they think psychiatry is a great fraud.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostTravolta has said that his son does not have autism, but rather suffers from something called Kawasaki Syndrome? Yeah, Kawasaki disease can cause coronary artery aneurysms. But John Travolta has said some pretty crazy stuff about household cleaners and chemicals causing their son's Kawasaki disease, which is crazy. Kawasaki disease just goes away on its own in about 4 weeks, and it happened to their kid a long time ago. It can cause long-term heart problems, but I don't see how Travolta thought it was related to his son's condition. And I have never heard anything about household cleaners causing Kawasaki disease.
I highly recommend the Wog Blog and http://www.xenutv.com/ if you'd like to do some anti-scientology reading or viewing.
This is Tori Christman, a former scientologist, speaking about how scientologists tried to force her to stop taking her epilepsy medication:

It's sad for the Travolta family but many other families lost children during this past week and their deaths are no less tragic. It really bothers me the attention stuff like this gets and the great out pouring of sympathy because they are a celebrity couple. I bet you wouldn't have to look far to see the child that was beat his entire life or a family with hardly enough money to bury their child.

Face it his kid had autism or a form of it as well as suffering from seizures his parents did nothing about it and scientology is the reason for it. Reports say that he went to the bathroom before bed, and they found him on the floor at 10am the next morning. His cause of death was actually from a blow to the head.*Banned*
