"Oklahoma" musical results in death of Washington County boy

More evidence that guns save lives:

"A Washington County high school student died after a prop pistol for the play 'Oklahoma!' discharged in his hand Saturday, St. George police said."

Utah’s independent news source since 1871, The Salt Lake Tribune covers news, entertainment, sports and faith for Salt Lake City and the state of Utah. (SLT)

I'm not sure what this has to do with gun control.

I was in the ER when this happened. The original story was that someone had substituted a live pistol for the prop and that the shooting happened in the middle of the play. Which would've been even crazier. Still, a really sad story.

Turns out that he was messing around with the prop gun before the play. Unsure if it was intentional, but likely not.

Didn't Bruce Lee's son die in the same way?

It's been a really rough few months down here.

EDIT: If you read the comments, Brandon Lee did die the same way. It does make me wonder why minors are allowed access to these things at all without heavy supervision. I can't imagine there won't be a huge lawsuit.

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I apologize for not caring about the content of this post. I just saw Teenage Dirtbag has been reincarnated. (Sadly), one of the happier days of my life.
