is up with all the young girls (GA. and MO.) being abducted and killed. Or children being abused and killed by their parents (Philly).

Seems more and more each day, one gruesome story after another.

Too much religion? Not enough religion? Too lenient judicial system? Satan is harder at work? Drugs? Alcohol? Bush's fault? Nothing has changed, just more media coverage?

I don't think I'd include religion in any of the possibilities (whether too much, or not enough).

I'd say just a random uptick, coupled with increased coverage by the media stations you watch.

Whatever it is, they're awful and terribly saddening stories.
