You think that's funny? What if we got team jerseys with DEFCON1 emblazoned across the front and back? Imagine twenty of us riding/running through cities and towns across the nation. Our team of Paul Reveres would cause mass hysteria, society as we know it would break down, and the Tulane game might be postponed. You need to think these things through.

If we discard Seachicken's vote based on him not being on the team, then we are currently deadlocked at 6 votes between Juiced and Asphalt Cowboys.

We need a tie-breaker vote, people!!!!

I don't mind changing my vote to help break the deadlock, but can someone explain "Asphalt Cowboys" to me? Is it a play on some other already-established name? Or is it a cycling term?

When I hear "Asphalt Cowboys", I think of two things: first, Glen Campbell belting out "I'm an Asphalt Cowboy, riding out on my bike on a star-spangled rodeo...!" And I also think of Jon Voight, rooming with Dustin Hoffman's Ratso Rizzo. Neither of these images is particularly pleasant, and yet I voted for it.

I also had Midnight Cowboy imagery in my mind (which is actually a fairly regular occurrence, irrespective of CUF). While I did not think of Glen Campbell's ode, I did think of "Urban Cowboy" with John Travolta.

The only reason I am hesitant to switch for "Asphalt Cowboy" is that the name sounds way too much like some urban code word for a male prostitute or something along those lines. We are going to get to the end of the challenge and the charity is going to refuse the donation from "The Asphalt Cowboys" because it would be a PR nightmare.

Unless someone has done due diligence on that term, can I change my vote to "Juiced?"

Is it too late to propose a new name for voting?

                  How about simply "Winners".

I mean, is the other team even going to show up?

are people entering their miles? It has totally slipped my mind (not that there are many miles).

maybe back-to-back fitness challenges made the novelty wear thin?

Heck yes, we're still entering our miles. Team Bluegoose/Juiced/AsphaltCowboys is kicking some serious butt, thanks to RCV's double century last weekend and team PAC's recent spike in mileage, which btw is more than making up for their untimely absence last challenge during their Jane Eyre vacay.

Still waiting for a tie-breaking vote on the team name (discarding SeaChickens vote for the wrong team). Mrs. Tick? Mrs. HFW?
