Good idea. If it makes you feel better, I expect to bring up the rear on this challenge and make everyone look really good. Hopefully seeing what you all can achieve will give me motivation to get better.Originally posted by BigPiney View PostI may and try and get mine in after work in the 100 degree heat just so I have an excuse.

He's an animal. How come he doesn't post over here?Originally posted by beelzebabette View PostApparently Archaea clocked in at 59:47."Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."

Tell him it won't count unless he makes an account and posts the time himself. Otherwise, I am going to make an entry for Lance Armstrong.Originally posted by Babs View PostI assume out of loyalty to mike.
He asked me to submit his time and apologize that it's a little slower than he'd like."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

well, that's what I figured, too. That's why I wasn't going to post his time, but BBB said it was okay (it is, after all, her contest).Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostTell him it won't count unless he makes an account and posts the time himself. Anyway, I imagine you can tell him yourself. If he found out about the challenge he has to be reading the thread, right?

I am kidding. I spoke with him last night on the phone. Had I known he was going to enter a time I would have given him a hard time about it.Originally posted by Babs View Postwell, that's what I figured, too. Arch is a mutant... We should be watching him on VS right now in France."Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."

Well...with a name like "beelzebabette"...I figured I'd better ride 25 miles today...she might have strong links to the underworld, and that frightens me.
So...out I went. If there is some kind of jersey for the most idiotic route to do this thing on...I get it. Maybe a jersey with a pic of a kid on a stool, facing the wall with a dunce cap on.
Took the Jordan River trail today, wasn't even a 25 mile distance, so I'm looping back, stopping, starting...stupid. Should have just went out around Utah Lake...at least it's long and flat.
25 miles
17.5 average
33.1 max
Total time: 1 hr. 25 min 11 sec
It is what it is folks.Last edited by Borg; 07-11-2009, 12:01 PM."Newton's First Law of Motion: ...things at rest tend to stay at rest. Things in motion, tend to stay in motion...."

Let's just say I very much lost my own challenge. Time for awards:Originally posted by BigPiney View Post25.02 miles in 1:24:11 for a 17.8 mph avg. I am beat.
BigPiney wins the CUFer award (and might I add how impressed I was at how close you and The Borg were at the finish?)

The Archaea (overall) prize goes, of course, to Archaea
