A friend of mine finished in 3:09. BIL ran a 2:58 or something like that to qualify. Yesterday calf injury in mile 2. Gutted his way through first few miles near goal pace and then backed off and played with the crowd the rest of the way, sat in lawn chairs, gave high fives, etc. Still finished in 3:52. Some people are just at a different level.Comment
