You may be too late for that.

      Hey suckers!

Today is the day that I became the spouse of a marathon runner! Big and Little Robin are super proud, and Faith has inspired us (at least for the time being) to think that we might give it a try too.

I completed my first marathon. It was incredible. Everything was perfect. The weather was cloudy and in the 60s for most of the race. Robin and little Robin were so sweet. They were at both the starting line and finishing line and cheered me on in between. I love that I ran my first marathon in Los Angeles. This city has really become my home and so many people who I didn’t even know cheered me on, smiled, gave high fives, fruit, Vaseline, etc. I felt so connected to everyone around me - it was so fantastic. I ran the marathon in 5 hours and 18 minutes. I am very pleased, and I am excited to beat my time next year. My feet ache, and I think that I might lose a couple of toe nails, but other than that, I feel great. Thank you for advice, and I am sure I will be needing some more as I continue running.

            Congratulations! Great job.

Not sure if somebody linked you to this already, but my wife started running marathons a few years ago and she swears by this FIRST training program:
