LOL well... Golf is a mental game.
( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

What kind of clubs are you playing right now? And socks.

You'll play better when you get rid of those ugly effin' shoes.

I have OCD too, and there's now way my condition would allow me to play a Srixon Ball without playing the matching Cleveland Clubs. I don't know how you do it. And certainly don't let that bother you while standing over the ball thinking that you should be playing a Cleveland Club to match the ball perfectly.

Exactly! DH once called the most comfortable (and quite stylish) shoes I've ever worn, "clunky" .

                  That's a nice looking shoe.

Nice revisionist history. I said I had yet to see an Ecco shoe that wasn't clunky. Ecco has stepped up their game in the last couple years. FTR, the ones you were wearing at the time of my comment were nothing less than super clunky:

This is the pair I currently have and yes they are old man shoes. I guess I've reached the age where I'm choosing comfort over style.
I think the new street line of Eccos look nice, but they are not nice enough to pay twice as much as the Adidas Adicross II:

Ha. I forgot I had that style, those were pretty "clunky". hose were the last pair of "spikes" I ever wore; I've had different versions of the Bioms the last few years.

I was going to buy a pair of Adidas this spring, but I didn't think they were very comfortable. The Eccos are as comfortable as any running, or athletic shoe I've ever owned.
