    Pilates

Does anyone else here "do" Pilates? Just wondering.

Not recently, but in the past, as often as 3-4 times per week. I've been on the summer associate diet lately (taken out to lunch every day, run up and down stairs to burn it off...). I had abs of steel when I did it frequently.

My wife actually got a reformer for our house and then got me hooked on it. (My "core" has never had it this good.) I didn't know if anyone else here did it. It would be nice to compare notes with someone who likes it as well.

I only ever did classes at the gym, and have only played a short while on the Pilates apparatus but it's good stuff. When I'm no longer a starving law student, I will pay the big bucks for a reformer.

The reformer was our 27th anniversary president to each other, part of our joint effort to maintain our . . . increasingly senior bodies. So far we have done a good job of not letting it become a clothes hanger or other storage device.

I went to some PIYO classes during the winter and they were a great workout. I still try to do a little on my own after lifting or doing some cardio.
