What I always find amazing is these patients that come to see me that look just like this, meth teeth and all, that say their dentist used benzocaine and that is why their drug test by gas chromatography is positive. Seriously, I'm not that stupid.

That is some seriously crazy stuff. I read a half dozen articles on it and cannot believe how nasty that stuff is. Life expectancy of 2-3 years. Limbs rotting off. Gives me the heeby jeebies.

Well, great. That meant I had to search and that is some nasty stuff. I can't even imagine how a drug would cause that. I'm tempted to read the article from the Independent in the UK, but I'll have to save that for another time. Seriously, that is what horror flicks are made of.

That is horrible. All of it. The meth faces were bad and the krokodil images were even worse. So sad that people find themselves in the throes of such demons.

Apparently I've got a stronger stomach than everybody because I read the articles that went with the pictures. The drug as it is currently produced is very impure and leads to gangrene, etc. at the injection sites. Not that the drug itself is a picnic.

Oh, I looked at lots of pictures. I have sort of a morbid fascination with gross things about the human body. But that doesn't make it less disturbing or horrific what people are doing to themselves.

The thing I find so crazy about it, is that they act absolutely flabbergasted in clinic that you somehow knew they were using.
