  • Fit Day oddities

I find it interesting that I cannot find certain things like natural peanut butter or fat free cottage cheese on Fit Day but that human milk is listed as a food item when you do a food search for "milk."

Now, you are not going to find a bigger lactivist on this board, but even I am wondering who on Fit Day is consuming human milk. Sure, I understand there is some incidental consumption now and then among the spouses/partners of lactating women, but that is pretty immeasurable. Seriously, am I naive? Is human milk really a more common food item than fat free cottage cheese or natural peanut butter?

Any other oddities you out there have found?

Oh, and yesterday was a bad, bad, bad day for me. I felt like I needed to confess. But I did run 12 miles this morning. Hopefully I made a dent in yesterday's calorie count.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I don't know, but SHW and I were wondering what the calorie breakdown was for the other day in the middle of a fit of laughter. Now I know where to turn.

And 12 miles? Seriously? That's awesome. I'm happy to get my four in.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Holy crap. You can eat an extra 2000 calories for that.

Nope, only 1,200 according to Fit Day. I am doing a 1/2 marathon in a couple of months so I have been working in a longish run once a week to prepare.

12 miles practically IS a half marathon.

But if she is running a half marathon as a race, she should run at least a 15 or 16 miler in preparation. Then she can kick ass on the day of the race.

Soup always kicks ass in her races. She smokes half the men.

Henry Ford had a wet nurse up until he died in his late eighties.

Or Henry Puyi, who breastfed until his late 20s.
