Anyone subscribe to Outside? The February edition (the one with Lolo Jones on the cover in what appears to be a bikini completely made of webbing...) has an article on the LiveStrong foundation. Very interesting...
Armstrong another Greg Mortenson?

I missed this post. I got my edition last week but haven't had a chance to start into it yet. From what I did read, Lance was none too happy that it was published. He's someone that i wouldn't want to mess with. My wild imagination is telling me that he has the resources and contacts to fit some nosy journalist in a pair of concrete shoes.

ER, I'm just curious to know what you found particularly interesting. I read it online last night after seeing your post. I think it's pretty disappointing that Livestrong isn't actively supporting research. In fact, it does seem to mislead a lot of people into thinking that they do, while actually not doing much other than to tell people 'hang in there like I did!'. Well, that and to try to constantly keep their faces in the news, 'Me! Look at me! Aren't I wonderful!'
(Or is the 'Very interesting' comment about the bikini on the cover?)

I found the article interesting enough, but tweeting someone is a-hole before your article and then calling him "Jerkstrong" in the article isn't going to give me the warm fuzzies that you went into this story without an agenda.
To the story overall, I find if armstrong wants to raise money to help people fight their way through the insurance process and the aftermath so be it.
