What is your favorite distance/time to run?

A few years ago when I wasn't a lard ass and was training for the marathons, my favorite run of the week was an 8 mile loop I would take. It was long enough that I had to work to meet the time I was trying to have, and even if the run started badly you could work through it.
Now that I am in better shape to be rolled than run I try to go 2-4 miles twice a week and I hate it. One day I will be in shape again.Get confident, stupid

I love the half mary. Short enough that you can hit the gas without worrying about bonking, but long enough that you feel like you've done something. Easy to stay in shape for, too.

Well, granted 360 in one run is more impressive, but I prefer the 90 feet at a time thing. I'd prefer a golf cart if I have to do the entire distance.Originally posted by Surfah View Post360 feet. For morning runs before I usually do beween 4 1/2 and 6 miles, depending on time. Its long enough to feel like I did something, but not so long as to wipe me out for the day.
On the rare occasion when I go on a weekend run, I like to try to do about 7 or 8 miles.
As for racing I really like the 10K distance. 5K is too short, especially if that is going to be my workout for the day, I feel shortchanged. Half marathons make me want to sleep for the rest of the day.
