as falawful so gently pointed out, my reading comprehension skills are not up to par today.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Pray. I am dead serious btw.

As a freshman in college I got a nasty wart in the soft tissue right between my right thumb and index finger. This thing was huge and because of the location often cracked and bled. Like you I was embarrassed to shake hands with anyone because they could feel it and I didn't want to pass it along to others. Tried many of the home solutions and OTC topical treatments with no luck. Went to a derm and he froze the sucker. I was biting on a towel while he did it. That mother hurt. Surgery was not an option because apparently it was sitting right on top of a nerve and the doctor was scared I might lose feeling in my thumb if he nicked it. Anyway, that sucker turned into a blood blister the size of a golf ball. I lanced it and then it filled right back up overnight. It throbbed and ached something fierce. Finally though it went away. On my mission though it came back. It remained until I came home. Went to a derm when I got back and he literally told me to pray about it. No lie. So I did. Every prayer I uttered I asked for my wart to go away. After a few months I was back at BYU and sitting in Elder's Quorum in the Harmon Building. I started picking at my wart under the desk and the whole thing lifted off like a scab. Clean smooth skin beneath it. I said a prayer and thanked God. It has never returned.
