    Amazing! Schedule III narcs can have 5 refills

    I had no idea. Norco 5/325 one tab 4 times a day #40 with 2 refills is a 30 day supply.

    I only have two chronic narcotic patients (one has a patch), so this is total news to me. Wuapinmon probably knew this already.

    Anybody out there getting chronic narcs? What for?

    I had an H-APAP 10/650 #48 2 tabs prn with 2 refills when my gallbladder was killing me.

        18 months. I had to take 3 at a time (I limited myself to only taking six a day) at the end because the pain was so intense that I couldn't handle it. Three days before surgery. I had 3 in me, and it felt like I had nothing in my system. I contemplated taking more after the ER booted me and said "I'm a band-aid guy and you don't need a band-aid." I didn't take any more though. I just sat in my chair and played MW2 and said "fuck" a lot.

        Not good times.

          whatever, many chopper gunner and cobra pilots lost their lives because of you in those days. they were the best of times.

            Band-aid guy, that is awesome.

            Most doctors hate chronic pain, because it is so hard for most to objectively describe. I actually really enjoy it, but it takes a lot of extra time, which most see as decreased revenue.

            Personally, I think most doctors do a terrible job diagnosing chronic pain. It makes it hard to be a chronic pain patient, because you then get labeled "drug seeker".

            Sounds like that is exactly what the ER doctor was thinking with you.

              Unless it has changed recently, this isn't the case in Utah. I am supposed to be on schedule 2 drugs and cant get any refills. I was told it was because there was a state law that did not allow it.

                What narcs can or can't be refilled was one of my board questions. No on II, yes on III.
