CUF's Biggest Loser 2010 -- Info on how to join

    [Mods, please sticky this thread.]

The URL for the web site: http://biggestloser2010.mynameistim.com/

In order to sign up, you must email me (boisvert@gmail.com) or send me a PM here on CUF. Include the following in your message:
    1. Email address
    2. Starting weight
    3. Goal weight

I commit that I will not share your starting or goal weight with anyone. The web site I manage only displays percentages, not actual weights.

The contest starts on July 25, but I can add you any time after that, too, so don't worry if you don't get me your information by then; please try and join by middle of next week, though.

Let me know if you have any questions.

EDIT: I forgot to point out HOW it works. Come back a couple times a week, log in, and put in your updated weight. Add journal entries, which not only show up on your own journal, but on the front page blog. Easy-peasy, Japanesey.

What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

      Done! Thanks.

Are people outside the board allowed to participate? I have a good friend who is trying to lose weight who is interested in participating.

All these skinny people like Mrs. Funk and beefytee in this this is only going to accentuate what a fat ass I am.

I need to lose like 70% of my body weight, good luck beating that!

I am ready. Had my physical this week. The doc played with my balls and showed me how to do a testicular self exam. Fun. Everything was good. My cholesterol was 223 so I want to get that down to 200. But the doc wasn't concerned about it. Still I am eating my cheerios. And want to retest in 3 months. Hopefully losing a few lbs will help too.

I was wearing black yesterday. It is slimming.

I'll admit I'm probably going to be pretty easy to beat. I've been working out the last few months (after not doing any for years) and eating better.

I feel a lot better and don't have as much of a gut anymore, but I haven't lost any weight.

I'll be happy if I don't lose any weight but if I am in better shape and look better. I'm going to use it as motivation to work out more and be more strict with my diet.

I've never had a six pack in my life, I'm hoping to get one.

Nope. I was afraid I would. I just got the bag massage and then the squeeze, turn and cough.

The doc has to leave you something to look forward to.

Mine was 218 a few weeks ago and I got put on some medicationto pull it down in a hurry.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

218 and they gave you medication? Was that your LDL number?

I don't remember. I have a friend who is a PA for a cardiologist and she gave me a stern lecture that anything over 200 is high.

Alright, this should be fun. I'm hoping that between two "contests" (this one and the one that my work is running right now,) I'll actually be motivated to lose some fat.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
