Good place to get Running Shoes in AF/Lehi area?

About time to replace my shoes. Others have recommended Fleet Feet or 26.2 in American Fork, or Runners Corner in Orem. I want to get a good gait analysis and not spend a fortune on shoes.

    Suggestions welcome.

I don't think they analyze your gait, but I'd get the shoes at Big 5. They often have sales, and you can get good running shoes for really good prices. I got the pair I have now for about half of what it would have cost elsewhere. Once you know what kind of shoe you need, check Big 5 before you buy elsewhere.
    Not that, sickos.

      Fleet Fleet of American Fork.

An old friend of mine and Steelblue's owns the place. He's a very bright guy who seems to really know what he is doing. He'll take good care of you.

Went by there this morning. I now know that I over-pronate. Got some Brooks Beasts. Sadly the Mizunos that were on clearance for $50 didn't quite do the trick. Had to pay retail for the Brooks.

Don't be sad about it. If you find the right shoes on sale, great, but never skimp on running shoes. Ever.

Yeah I know. That's why I got the Brooks anyway. My last set of Brooks I got on clearance for like $25 so I'm still way ahead.

Excellent. I'm glad they were able to able to help you out. I've put a lot of miles on my Brooks for the last 4 or 5 years and love them.

And hopefully you told them that bluegoose sent you. I'm sure it wasn't at all awkward either.

The guy that owns Fleet Foot donates a lot of time and resources to fundraising 5ks around the valley. Great guy.
