Trying to lose 15 pounds by a certain date has never worked for me. Like everything else I keep putting it off. This time I'm trying to lose a pound a week for 15 weeks and I think it's keeping me more focused. I want to be thin and in shape like PAC.

If you want to look like PAC, your magic number isnt 15.

    It's 31.

A pound a week seems pretty high, depending of course on how much you weigh. Be safe.

Baskin Robbins? A slander, sir! My well-turned spare tire was the product of a years-long menage a trois with Ben and Jerry. The now inexplicably discontinued Wavy Gravy was my ambrosia, although New York Super Fudge Chunk was a worthy substitute.

And btw, RC, I think a pound a week is very doable. Don't let an occasional setback get you down, as some weeks you'll drop 2-3. Currently, my wife serves as my inspiration (or is it bete noir?). While I worked at home, she was off on another 40-miler with a bunch of ladies. I'd be suspicious, but she's obviously getting into better shape and her, uh, testosterone levels seem to be up.
