Yes. I spent about 20 minutes reading some of my old posts. Didn't help.

And now at 2PM I am feeling the negative effects of insomnia from the night before.

I have suffered with this for years. Ambien works but leaves me feeling groggy in the morning.

My problem is usually falling asleep, not staying asleep.

Interestingly, after a few months on the CPAP I am doing much better.

Sorry, DDD. I wish I had a solution. I do know that there are reputable medical sleep clinics here in LA. Seems like something Intermountain Health Care would offer.

I seldom fall asleep before 2:00 and always wake up around 6:00. It's been that way since college. I've thought about sleeping pills, but I kind of like the extra hours, especially the late ones when there are no distractions. My advice...embrace your insomnia.

If DDD believes insomnia is a problem, imagine what he would think about explaining his arrest to family and friends.

                            Uhhh... I couldn't sleep so...

This doesn't sound like insomnia. You just seem to require less sleep.
