How much time do you spend on home improvement projects?

Some might spend very little time on home improvement projects particularly if they live in apartments. Others who work 5 day weeks may spend all day there day off usually Saturday doing one thing or another. For many it may be half and half. Football season you may work around BYU football if you can't go too game. Some may be fiddling with things than take breather in front of tv if they don't have to go to town. I don't think many people sit in front of tv or computer all day Saturday. Get caught up and spend some of there time relaxing.

I spend as little time as possible. With that said I have multiple projects going on. Tonight I repaired sprinklers.

I paid someone to clean my yard, mow, weed, etc, I felt like the laziest POS, but it was the greatest thing ever.

too much and yet still not enough.

Ask me and I will tell you I spend too much time on home improvement. Ask my wife and she will tell you I don't spend enough time on it. I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

I prefer Lowes and Vitiman Water Zero. Other than that, spot on.

That was my day. The rest of our kitchen cabinets arrived today so I hung three new wall cabinets. Moved another wall cabinet and base cabinet. Fixed a gas line. Installed the over the range microwave. I swear I was looking for some tool I just had all day, usually different bits since the cabinet screws used a square bit but I was anchoring them with long drywall screws to get them square. Tomorrow the kitchen island will get replaced and I'll refinish the butcher block to go on top. I need to go buy a circular saw with a good crosscut blade. I think that will be easier with a fence and some clamps than trying to push that big thing through my 10" table saw.

It will be nice when I am not working on something in this house.

The kitchen is nearly done. About 70%. The only thing left on the list is to put in some lighting. Pendants over the island and some recessed cans around. But that will probably be next year. Same with the countertops. And we'll wait to tile the backsplash until then. Floors are going to be a next year thing also, but we're going to pull up the hardwood and lay down something else throughout. I am trying to price a deck and maybe this fall we'll do that when it cools off.

After that we'll tackle the bathrooms upstairs. I really would love to gut our master bath but I am not sure we'll have the money. When you come out you'll see why. Just some wasted space. I'd like to make the shower a bit bigger and the vanity has to go. For some reason it is counter height. I never even noticed it until after our first week in the house. Gidget didn't notice until I pointed it out to her. It drives me nuts.

So year, you're right. I've only just begun. The basement is lurking after all that. And maybe a retaining wall for the backyard too.

I spend just enough time needed to makes things worse, then call someone who knows how to make the repairs.
