If the drain is super slow, this is the best way to get the hair out:

        1. Plug the drain (or use the drain stopper)
        2. Flood the tub with about 5 inches of water.
        3. Get your best plunger ready
        4. Unplug the drain and furiously start plunging. You'll be plunging underwater--you dont want any air to go down the drain.
        5. After plunging for about a minute straight, you'll start seeing water coming out of the drain overflow valve.
        6. Remove the plunger. A huge hairball will float up out of the drain to the surface.
        7. After gagging a few times, grab the hairball before it has a chance to go down the drain again.
        8. Repeat for additional hairballs.

The underwater plunging brings air into the drain overflow valve and expells the hairball. Or something like this. It never fails to work for me. Those zip lines dont work for me.

For drain hair balls I had good luck with these flexible grabber tools as well...

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
