sacrament today

Cool experience today. This really old single dude was baptized a few months ago, he's around 75 and owns several plaid suits from the 70's that he wears with pride. White curly hair and a big white, long beard. Not ZZ Top long, but it hangs low.

Anyway, it was his first week at being a priest and he looked a little nervous.
It was neat seeing the boys (who I work w/ in YM) help him through his first sacrament.
He had a big smile on his face when he was done.

The talks were pretty lame, but I'll never forget this sight.

That's awesome. It is always heart warming when you see seemingly unlikely people join the Church and take pride in receiving the blessings that come with it. Your post makes me wish I could see a picture of this man, he sounds very cool.
