Not necessarily related to the ____ situation, but sometimes wonder why it's necessary to baptize with the speed of Congress pushing through a trillion dollar spending bill.

Given the importance of entering into the baptismal covenant, it wouldn't hurt to be good and certain that the investigator is truly ready.

We need to have a semi-annual CUF General Conferece, where we can bring forth issues and proposals to be sustained or opposed by the general body of CUF.

Goatnapper'96's post deserves to be recognized as the first submission to the canon of CUF scripture. With or without your sustaining, I have channeled my inner Bruce Red and broken up this epistle into the proper canonical format it deserves.

Chapter 1

Goatnapper'96 speaks Messianically. Rosebud is chastened with pwnage and wrath. Momos will convert the world. SeattleUte shall be brought down at the last day

1. I think you need to pull the string.(a)
2. What you know is they are from _____ and you know they got baptized. The rest is a bunch of apologetic bullshit(a) you filled in based upon the collective opinion that mormons are uberhyper to convert the world, which we are.
3. The heart of your final sentence sums it up best and if it makes their lives better quit being a sniveling Nancy worried what some dickhead(a) Social Psych prof feels about us and recognize the benefit in the lives of the dirt poor sorry bastards is worth the fact that we momos(b) are a shortsighted bunch all too concerned with increasing the flaps on our tents.
4. Even if and when they fall away, if it benefited their lives for some time and they get the knowledge of where to go for mormon social help it is a good thing.
5. Other than that I could care less than SeattleUte's(a) latest gall stone....unless of course one of their kids ends up being a blanket like cover corner in 15 years or so.
6. Then I will know the entire thing was the will of God.

I always thought Maj. Napper (I think after that post he should be shown more respect) went to the Y before his mission then to Annapolis afterwords. That wouldn't make much sense though, when I stop and think about it. Crap just like Steve Martin now there is another funny Mormon I can't claim to have anything in common with.

To think I left out the "A" as there were fewer bigger A's than DonnieMac. As a sophmore my older brother heard DM had said some disparaging things about wrestlers and since my brother never improved his conflict resolution skills beyond his Sunbeam years, Mike stormed through the door seperating the gym and the wrestling room and informed DonnieMac that if Mike ever heard of DonnieMac (not that if DonnieMac ever said) saying anything more about wrestlers he would "tear his skinny ass arms out of socket and cram them up his ass." Then Coach Hawking came to the rescue of DonnieMac until my eloquent and oft quoted brother yells "and fuck you too!" To which Hawking decided his own health and safety was probably more important than ensuring his skinny yet talented sophmore superstar's ego was protected, and as such Coach Hawk took a hide position that would have made a french infantryman blush.

He had a quick release, great touch and could shoot the rock. He also was one of the hardest working athletes I have ever seen and he squeezed every bit of natural talent out of his body. But he was still a dick.

Damon was a great dude, I often wonder what came of him. He did a great job with the Branch as I recall he was heavily involved in a club at West Point that was basically for the AA cadets. He was involved in planning the Henry O. Flipper (first AA West Point Graduate) Dinners/events that coincided with MLK's birthday, and he really did a great job at getting the LDS Cadets to attend. Being raised by John Birchers in which my mother was the family liberal, as she only voted for George Wallace once, it was the beginning of my reevaluating a bit of my more extreme upbringing. I will always remember him fondly for being a catylist for me to start questioning how I perceived the world a bit.

To me, folks who fit that category make the biggest impact in the shortest time. I can think of about 3-4 people who did the same for me.

I think Damon has that effect on a lot people. I was raised in a small monochromatic community. He was the first AA member of the church I every knew or had discussions with. He was always friendly, articulate and very spiritual. We weren't super close friends, more associates, but share a couple of friends who keep in contact with both of us.

I forget where he works, but I believe it is pretty high up in one of the Fortune 500 companies in Chicago.
