My dad just came back from a visit in Utah with my mom's family (she is still there) and in talking to him apparently my great aunt just passed away while he was there (or maybe it was just before they got there). Anyway, she must have been 95 and has been wanting to die for some time. She had been saying "every night the bus comes but they don't let me get on" for at least a year.
So it looked as though she was getting ready to pass and her son came and gave her the final blessing and released her spirit from her body (which by the way, I keep hearing about this but is that an actual ordinance?) and it looked as though she was ready to go. And then she woke up the next day. And she was mad as a hornet to still be there. She did pass later that day though. That just tickled me for some reason (the anger, not the passing).
