What really bugs me about the whole Main Street Plaza thing is that the church is obviously lying about its treatment of gay people in this quasi-public space. The Plaza was designed for romantic strolling, among other purposes, yet the church's PR folks LIE to the press and claim that they enforce the 'no PDA' rules for heterosexual couples in the same way they enforce them for gay couples. It is a filthy lie that doesn't pass the smell test for anyone who has walked around the Plaza and seen the many heterosexual PDA's taking place there. If the church wants to discriminate against gay people, they have that right, because the Plaza is technically private space, but the church shouldn't lie about it.Comment
