Are you a family history consultant like I am?"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

A coworker of mine, to an outward observer as white as white can be, said that his report showed a distinct percentage of Sub-Saharan African. He initially presented this to his family for the humor of it, as anybody looking at him would realize it was clearly incorrect. This prompted his mother to let slip the shameful family secret: they did, indeed, have distant black ancestry. She was old enough that it was still to her a shameful thing. For the coworker, her humiliation made it even funnier.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostThe most recent Ancestry update eliminated the "< 1% West African " element I had enjoyed previously. I'm now pretty much as white as it gets: 94% British isles and 6% Norwegian.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

That's the funny thing. The Iberian peninsula made sense because I do have more olive toned skin and tan really well. Well, made sense outside of actual genealogy research where my lines all come from the British Isles or Scandanavia/Germany.Originally posted by Pelado View Post
Hope you use plenty of sunscreen.

I've been using the link from Tools to FamilySearch to print up a name to take to the temple. But I see the one I used last time is still there to print--it even reminds me that I've printed it before. I assume this means the temple I took it to didn't process it? Is there someone I should call or just take the same name a second time?

Is it the same ordinance or is the name there but for a different ordinance (eg a sealing)Originally posted by Bo Diddley View PostI've been using the link from Tools to FamilySearch to print up a name to take to the temple.
