Great program and fun to have the daily reminders.
That's cool and all, but when was the last time you #ponderized?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

i re-visited this thread and it remains both amusing (Byran Marchant's post of City Creek and it's intended slam on the Church, a big whiff) and uplifting (examples of service). Nearly a decade later, our kids and their families continue to gift us with reports of creative service projects, and our oldest continues to supervise Denver's Just Serve efforts, including their Giving Machines. Every year she sends me a pic of her with various luminaries, political, athletic, and church. Here's one from last week.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

A friend is the church's product manager over the Giving Machines project. She usually posts some pretty cool pics of some of the rollouts. I think it's one of the coolest things the church does. Very cool your daughter is involved.
